ensures that the Tiexi plant
is supplied with parts in a
reliable, fast and resource-
efficient manner. Partners
from the region were also in-
volved in developing and
building the production fa-
cilities. In a first for China,
four suppliers with
500
asso-
ciates currently operate
directly on site at the plant.
For the first time in the
BMW
Group production network,
only reusable packaging
is used for local cargo han-
dling. This means

per
cent protection for products
and material, and zero per
cent waste.
