GelsenkirchenreneryinGermany.
Wehaveatotalof18manufacturingsitesoperatingintheUK,theUS,
Belgium,Germany,China,Indonesia,SouthKorea,MalaysiaandTaiwan,
includingourjointventures.

ThesupplyofaviationfuelsandLPGismanagedgloballyintheglobal
fuelsSPU.
AirBPisoneoftheworld’slargestandbestknownaviationfuels
suppliers,servingmanyofthemajorcommercialairlines,aswellasthe
generalaviationandmilitarysectors.
Wehaveannualmarketingsalesinexcessof400mb/d.AirBP’s
strategicaimistogrowitspositioninthecorelocationsofEurope,theUS,
AustralasiaandtheMiddleEast,whilefocusingitsportfoliotowards
airportsthatofferlong-termcompetitiveadvantage.
TheLPGbusinesssellsbulk,bottled,automotiveandwholesale
LPGproductsin10countries,withannualsalesinexcessof50thousand
barrelsperday.Duringthepastfewyears,wehaveintroducednew
consumeroffersinestablishedmarkets,developedopportunitiesingrowth
marketsandpursuednewdemandsuchastheGermanAutogasmarket.
Signicanteventsin2010were:
• Castrolwasasponsorofthe2010FIFAWorldCup™inSouthAfrica
andusedthistodeliverasignicantprogrammeofbrandvisibilityand
customerengagement.Castrolleveragedthesponsorshiptosupport
ourbusinessesinallregions.Wehaveseenincreasedbrandawareness
forourCastrolmasterbrandandproductbrands.
• InJuly2010,Castrolopenedanewlubricantstechnologydevelopment
centreinChina.EmployingscientistsandengineersfromChinaand
abroad,thisteamwillworkcollaborativelywithvehiclemanufacturers,
distributorsandotherpartners,focusingoncutting-edgelubricant
