Accounts payable (included as a separate line item on the Consolidated Balance Sheet) includes drafts payable on
demand of $68 million at December 31, 2004, and $67 million at December 31, 2003.
NOTE 6. Supplemental Stockholders’ Equity and Comprehensive Income Information
Common stock ($.01 par value per share) of 3.0 billion shares is authorized, with 944,033,056 shares issued. During
the third quarter of 2003, $4 million was transferred within stockholders’ equity from “Capital in excess of par value” to
“Common stock” in connection with the two-for-one split of the Company’s common stock. Treasury stock is reported
at cost, with 170,514,775 shares at December 31, 2004, 159,915,696 shares at December 31, 2003, and
163,641,694 shares at December 31, 2002. Preferred stock, without par value, of 10 million shares is authorized but
unissued.
