Stock Performance Graph
The following graph compares the cumulative total return on Dell's common stock during the last five fiscal years with the
S&P 500 Index and the Dow Jones Computer Index during the same period. The graph shows the value, at the end of each
of the last five fiscal years, of $100 invested in Dell common stock or the indices on February 1, 2002, and assumes the
reinvestment of all dividends. The graph depicts the change in the value of common stock relative to the indices at the end of
each fiscal year and not for any interim period. Historical stock price performance is not necessarily indicative of future stock
price performance.

We have restated the selected financial data presented in this report as of February 3, 2006, January 28, 2005, January 30,
2004, and January 31, 2003, for the fiscal years ended on those dates, and for the first quarter of Fiscal 2007. The
restatement reflects the results of the independent investigation by the Audit Committee, as well as other adjustments
identified by management.
This "Part II — Item 6 — Selected Financial Data," includes the following:
• The restated selected financial data for the annual periods described above;
• The annual financial data for the year ended February 2, 2007;
• Restated quarterly selected financial data for those years being restated; and
• Schedules presenting details of the nature and impact of the restatement adjustments. Additional information regarding
these adjustments can be found in Note 2 of Notes to Consolidated Financial Statements included in "Part II — Item 8 —
Financial Statements and Supplementary Data." The adjustments that relate to fiscal years prior to Fiscal 2003 are reflected
in beginning retained earnings
