Customers have confidence in McDonald’s.
We value that trust and work to maintain it
through our own actions and those of our
suppliers. That’s why we’ve aligned ourselves
with world-class suppliers who share our
uncompromising standards for safety, quality
and social responsibility.

Safety & quality first
Food safety and quality
are the cornerstones of
our business. We have high
food safety and quality
control standards, meeting or
surpassing food industry and
government requirements.
Notably, we have led the
industry in requiring micro-
biological testing for food
products.
“As a member of McDonald’s
International Science
Advisory Council, I have been
continually impressed with
the Company’s determination
to ‘do the right thing’
in food safety.
McDonald’s wisely uses
its leadership role
to influence new, higher
standards for the entire
food industry.”

Neurodegenerative Diseases,

We also have exacting
specifications for our prod-
ucts. For example, our buns
are baked according to
stringent specifications for
height, weight and texture.
Our lettuce and tomatoes
are farm fresh. Our burgers
are 100 percent pure
ground beef.
