International Pension Plans Assets
OutsidetheU.S.,pensionplanassetsaretypicallymanagedbydecentralizedfiduciarycommittees.Thedisclosurebelowofasset
categoriesispresentedinaggregateforover70definedbenefitplansin27countries;however,thereissignificantvariationinasset
allocationpolicyfromcountrytocountry.Localregulations,localfundingrules,andlocalfinancialandtaxconsiderationsarepartof
thefundingandinvestmentallocationprocessineachcountry.TheCompanyprovidesstandardfundingandinvestmentguidanceto
allinternationalplanswithmorefocusedguidancetothelargerplans.
Eachplanhasitsownstrategicassetallocation.Theassetallocationsarereviewedperiodicallyandrebalancedwhennecessary.
