Charter Communications, Inc. is a Wired World CompanyTM linking its customers to the Internet — and to a growing menu
of information and entertainment services. The Wired WorldTM is Paul Allen’s vision of a global broadband network that will
interconnect every home, providing immediate availability to information and resources anywhere in the world.
Charter is the fourth-largest operator of cable television systems in the United States, serving more than 6 million
customers. In addition to a full range of traditional cable television services, Charter is launching digital video services,
high-speed Internet service, and television-based Internet access. Charter is also introducing interactive video programming
and is developing telephone service.

customers in 1999 and completed our initial public offering in November 1999. Today we’re building a new and better kind
of communications company with the power of broadband.
