Shareholder Information
COMMON STOCK INFORMATION
Charter Communications, Inc.
common stock is traded in the Nasdaq
National Market under the symbol
CHTR. Charter completed its initial
public offering of Class A common
stock on November 8, 1999. The initial
public offering price was $19 per share.
As of March 31, 2000, there were 1,923
holders of Class A common stock
(representing an aggregate of approxi-
mately 234,000 beneficial owners)
and one holder of Class B common
stock. Charter does not expect to pay
any cash dividends on its Class A com-
mon stock in the foreseeable future.
Charter intends to retain future earn-
ings, if any, to finance the expansion
of its business. The ability of Charter
to pay cash dividends on its common
stock is limited by provisions in the
indentures governing the publicly held
debt of its subsidiaries.
