as our line of delicious pre-
mium salads. We currently
are rolling out fresh Caesar,
California Cobb and Bacon
Ranch salads, topped with
slices of warm, juicy grilled
or crispy chicken breast
meat. Customers who
prefer can even order their
McDonald’s salads without
chicken.
Comfortable, inviting,
distinctive restaurants also
add to the value of the
overall McDonald’s experi-
ence. So we and our owner/
operators are investing in
existing restaurants, con-
centrating on those that
will benefit most from the
enhancements. Some will
be remodeled, while others
will be either rebuilt or
relocated.
Enhancements will
range from adding ameni-
ties, such as self-service
beverage bars, to adding
double-lane drive-thrus to
speed service.
Our objective is simple:
to make McDonald’s a more
compelling
choice for cus-
tomers, in turn
driving increases
in sales and
generating good
returns for the Company,
our owner/operators and
our shareholders.

And, we’ve been busy fresh-

On the price front, we
introduced the Dollar Menu

to grab snacks.
In addition, we are
keeping our U.S. menu con-
temporary with McDonald’s
Taste Sensations, which
include limited-time product
offerings, such as the popu-

IT’S 1:00 P.M., an hour
when even Hawaiis most
ardent surfers break for
lunch. Luckily, the
McDonald’s restaurant on
Kalakaua Avenue is just

Honolulu’s famous Waikiki

Kuhio Beach among the
locals. The awesome waves
