3. In a Schedule 13G filed with the SEC on February 12, 2007, an investment advisor, Capital Research and Management
Company, 333 South Hope Street, Los Angeles, CA 90071, disclosed that as of December 29, 2006, it is deemed to be the
beneficial owner of 50,513,900 shares, or approximately 7.5% of Exelon’s issued and outstanding shares, although it
disclaimed beneficial ownership pursuant to Rule 13d-4. Capital Research disclosed that it had sole dispositive power of
50,513,900 shares.
4. Beneficial ownership, shown in Column [A], of directors and executive officers as a group represents less than 1% of the
outstanding shares of Exelon common stock.
