UTILITIES
The latest One Ford global product, EcoSport, will be a key model in
expanding Ford’s presence in worldwide growth markets including India, Brazil
and the ASEAN markets. It was developed in South America at one of Ford’s
eight global product development centers in conjunction with teams from
Asia, Europe and North America to meet the needs of customers across
the globe.
The all-new Escape/Kuga will also arrive in 2012 globally. This brand-
new model of America’s best-selling SUV raises the bar even higher, featuring
11 new exclusive features and fuel economy projected to top any vehicle of its
kind on the market today. For European customers, the all-new version of the
Ford Kuga will include unique powertrains and features. Chinese customers
also will see the all-new Kuga in 2012.
The reinvented Explorer entered the 2012 model year with an expanded
color palette and an all-new Ford EcoBoost four-cylinder engine delivering
class-leading fuel economy and responsive performance. The Edge and Flex
were refreshed as well.
1) Ford EcoSport is the latest global product,
helping to expand our footprint in the world’s
fastest-growing auto markets. It will eventually
be sold in nearly 100 markets worldwide. 2) The
all-new Ford Escape offers 11 new exclusive
features and fuel economy projected to top any
vehicle of its kind on the market today. 3) The
new Ford Explorer is a completely reinvented
sport utility vehicle, offering customers an
unmatched combination of convenience,
capability and technology.
