the ability to easily send
destination information to their
vehicle using their smartphone.
4) Performance upgrades and
new features for MyFord
Touch® begins with 2013
models. 5) Lane Keeping

out of the lane.
SMART
As technology becomes ever more prevalent in
modern life, Ford has done more than anyone to
seamlessly integrate it into the driving experience. From
the mobile connectivity that’s enabled by Ford SYNC®
to the state-of-the-art driver assist systems in the 2013
Fusion, Ford is making driving safer, less stressful and
more convenient.
More than 4 million SYNC-equipped vehicles are
now on the road in North America, and the technology
is expanding to other markets globally. 2011 brought the
addition of SYNC AppLink to 10 models, with the
ability to use simple voice commands to control
selected smartphone apps. MyFord Touch® is in the
midst of a major performance upgrade. It is coming to
several new models for 2013 including Fusion,
Flex and F-Series trucks.
At Ford, smart technology is about more than
entertainment and staying connected. From
AdvanceTrac stability control, Curve Control, active
park assist, Lane Keeping System, adaptive cruise
control and more, the sensors in today’s Fords are
helping drivers safely get where they need to go while
serving as the building blocks for future capabilities.
