These future obligations are matched, or ex-
ceeded, by income on sub-leases.
Purchase commitments for property, plant and
equipment amount to euro 1,229 million (2001: euro
1,116 million).
Sundry other financial commitments amount to
euro 92 million (2001: euro 93 million).
