France
Among the 21 production units, our two plants
in Pacy-sur-Eure are dedicated to power control
and protection, speed drives and motor starters,
enclosures and equipment accessories.
T he plants are certified to ISO 9002
and ISO 14001 standards.
T he Pacy Isambard plant, with 370 employees,
manufactures multifunctional power control
and protection products such as Series D overload
relays, Series F contactors, variable-component
contactors and Telemecanique K series equipment.
T he Pacy Blanchet plant, with 250 employees,
is specialized in Telemecanique speed drives
and motor starters. Manufacturing operations
focus on electronic products and sub-assemblies,
such as speed drives for asynchronous and direct
current motors, soft starters for asynchronous
motors and electronic boards.T he facility also
makes electromechanical products, such as motor
starters and reversing switches.
Hungary
In Budapest, two production sites are operational.
T he Merlin Gerin Zala plant, created in 1993,
manufactures low-voltage modular C60 circuit-
breakers for the Merlin Gerin Multi 9 range.T he
manufacturing unit serves the Hungarian market
and ensures the global distribution of its products
via the Moirans distribution center in France.
Merlin Gerin Zala employees 200 people and is
ISO 9002 and ISO 14001 certified.
T he Zalaegerszeg plant employs 120 people
and focuses on manufacturing sheet metal parts
and assembling Merlin Gerin Masterbloc LV
distribution switchboards and Merlin Gerin
MCSet MV metal-clad draw-out cubicles.
T he site is also ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.
Ireland
With three plants in Ireland – Square D Ireland
in Ballinasloe (Low Voltage Power),Thorsmann
Ireland (Final Low Voltage) and Schneider
Electric Manufacturing Celbridge (Industrial
Control)– Schneider Electric is the country’s
leading electrical equipment manufacturer.
Among these sites, Schneider Electric
Manufacturing Celbridge specializes
in the production of Telemecanique contactors
for global distribution.T he site employs
400 people and is ISO 9002 and ISO 14001
certified. Since 1996, the implementation
of a continuous improvement process, based
on employees' involvement, has lead to significant
results in terms of reduction in product costs,
improvement of quality and customer service.
