employees through our “Buy, Own, Save” program for stock accumula-
tion. From day one of their employment, employees are eligible to enroll
in Lowe’s discounted stock purchase plan which allows them to “Buy”
Lowe’s stock at a 15 percent discount. After a year of service, qualified
employees are automatically enrolled in Lowe’s Employee Stock
Ownership Plan, and receive annual contributions of Lowe’s stock.
This allows them to “Own” a stake in Lowe’s financial success.
Team members are also encouraged to “Save” through
Lowe’s 401(k) program, our Employee Savings
and Investment Plan. All three programs are
designed to reward employees for hard work,
to create a vehicle for financial security
