f) Issuer Purchases of Equity Securities
On February 21, 2008, the Board of Directors authorized the use of up to $150 million for the repurchase of
our common shares exclusive of shares repurchased in connection with employee stock plans. The shares may be
purchased from time to time at prevailing prices in the open market, by block purchases, or in privately-
negotiated transactions.
There were no common shares acquired by the Company in open market transactions in 2007. During 2007,
we acquired 406,377 shares of our common stock in connection with employee stock plans at an aggregate cost
of $27.4 million, or an average of $67.45 per share.
