Common Stock Information
Charter Communications, Inc. Class A
common stock is traded on the Nasdaq
National Market under the symbol CHTR.
As of June 1, 2004, there were approximately
4,700 record holders of Class A common
stock (representing a total of approximately
187,800 beneficial owners) and one holder
of Class B common stock. Charter has not
paid stock or cash dividends on any of its
common stock, and we do not intend to pay
cash dividends on common stock for the
foreseeable future. Except for the cash
dividends on preferred stock issued from
time to time, we intend to retain future
earnings, if any, to finance our business.
The ability of Charter to pay cash dividends
on its common stock is limited by the terms
of Charter’s outstanding preferred stock
and provisions in the indentures governing
the publicly held debt and credit facilities
of Charter and its subsidiaries.
