Mobile Technology
We continue to enhance the iPhone technology and training provided to our associates to deliver better customer
experiences in the aisle. With the more than 42,000 iPhones deployed to stores across the U.S., associates can check
inventory availability, retrieve product rebate information, help customers access their MyLowe’s account information
and more. Additionally, with our iPhone and Android consumer apps, our consumer facing mobile properties have
grown to represent 20% of overall Lowes.com traffic.
MyLowe’s
We have had continued success with our customer enabling personalized website. More than 18 million MyLowe’s
cards have been activated and more than 5 million cardholders have registered their cards. Registered users spend
more at Lowe’s overall, transacting more often and spending more per transaction than non-registered users.
Flexible Fulfillment
Flexible Fulfillment allows us to deliver Lowes.com parcel orders to customers in over 90% of U.S. markets within 24
hours at standard shipping rates for in-stock products. We now have over 50 fulfillment nodes, allowing us to ship
from the most cost effective location. Since implementation in fall of 2011, we have more than doubled the number
of parcel shipments which has contributed to 2012 Lowes.com sales growth of over 50%.
