Note 9. Commitments and Contingencies
Lease Commitments
We lease certain of our facilities and related equipment under operating leases that expire at variousdates through
2029. We currently sublease some space under various operating leases that will expire onvarious dates through 2018.
Some of our leases contain renewal options, escalation clauses, rent concessions, and leasehold improvement
incentives. Rent expense was $88 million, $88 million, and $87 million in fiscal 2010, 2009, and 2008, respectively.
