...is leadership you
can trust.
Our business transformation project will
provide the tools and processes that are
necessary to grow sales, reduce costs
andmanage the business more effectively.
We are taking a very measured approach
andareleveraging the intellectual capital
we possess, with several hundred of our
dedicated Sysco associates working on
theproject.
Operational improvement is at
the core of what we do every day.
During the past year, we sharpened
our focus on improving our business
and helping our customers succeed.
Looking forward, wehave multiple
initiatives inprocess that will
drive further productivity and
profitability improvements.
One of the key areas of focus in 2010 wascontinuing to
support our customers. We strive to be a true partner to
the foodservice operators that we serve. We help them look
for ways to attract more patrons, be more efficient and
reduce costs. When our efforts are successful, we earn our
customers loyalty and respect a valuable commodity.
Strong supplier relationships are
essential to our ability to deliver
differentiated value to ourcustomers.
We work closely with our suppliers
to create channels for growth that
benefit both them and us. More and
more, that means bringing them into
the sales planning process.
