Options on Schneider Electric SA shares have been
traded on the MONEP market since December 20,
1996.
Ordinary bonds
On April 14, 1999, Schneider Electric SA issued
750 million worth of 3.75% bonds due April 14,
2004. On May 28, 1999, a further 250 million
3.75% bond issue was carried out, also due April 14,
2004. The second issue is treated as an extension of
the first. Both are traded on the Euronext Paris and
the Luxembourg bond markets under ISIN code
FR0000492316.
During the year, the Company redeemed part of the
issue, in an amount of 49 million.
As part of the Euro Medium Term Notes program ini-
tiated on December 21, 1999, Schneider Electric SA
issued two tranches of 6.1275% bonds due in
October 2007, worth an aggregate 450 million.The
first, worth 400 million, was issued on October 9,
2000 and the second, worth 50 million, was issued
on October 10, 2000. Together they comprise
450,000 bonds with a face value of 1,000 each,
which are traded on the Euronext Paris and the
Luxembourg bond markets under ISIN code
FR0000483091.
As part of the Euro Medium Term Notes program ini-
tiated on December 20, 2002, Schneider Electric
issued 750 million worth of 3.875% bonds due
October 31, 2008. The bonds are traded on the
Luxembourg bond market under ISIN code
FR0010023200.
