meet the electricity needs of all the people
on our planet for an entire year.
Thanks to solar thermal technology, this
energy can now be reaped without produc-
ing CO2 emissions. Siemens’ first solar
thermal plant will start feeding electricity
into Spain’s power grid in 2011.
