There’s no question that the fi nancial

As we begin 2010 in a new environment
for the industry, we are committed to

This improvement will come from
expanding our net interest margin through
improved pricing, low cost deposit growth,
implementing a best-in-class credit and
risk management program, and continued
focus on reducing critical exposures. In
addition, across every line of business,
associates have been challenged to
rigorously manage expenses and enhance
operating effi ciency.
We remain fi rmly committed to building
value for all our customers by providing
valuable products and services to meet
all the fi nancial needs of our customers
within Regions Bank, Morgan Keegan,
Regions Mortgage and Regions Insurance.
This attention to building broader and
more valuable relationships not only
improves our fi nancial performance, it
also allows us to meet a greater share of
our customers’ fi nancial needs. Without
a doubt, Regions’ measure of success
comes from an ability to attract, grow and
retain valuable customer relationships.
As we look to the future, we see that
