Key points
xExposure to Spain reduced by £1.6 billion during 2010, largely in
residential mortgage-backed covered bond exposures to financial
institutions.
xItalian exposures declined by £0.3 billion during 2010 from a
combination of reductions in corporate clients and financial
institutions, primarily in GBM.
xThe £500 million reductions in both Greek and Portuguese
exposures primarily reflect disposals.
