Standard Life plc. He was also previously a director of
the Association of British Insurers, a member of the
former Chancellor of the Exchequer’s High Level Group
on Financial Services and Chairman of the Edinburgh
World City of Literature Trust. In 2007 he was the Prince
of Wales’ Ambassador for Corporate Social
Responsibility in Scotland.

the board of LECG Corporation. She has also worked at
McKinsey & Company, AT Kearney, as Chief Financial
Officer at Barclays Global Investors (now BlackRock)
and managing partner of Belvedere Capital, a private
equity firm focused on buy-outs in the financial services
sector.

Tony Di Iorio (age 70)
Date of appointment: 1 September 2011
Experience: Began his career at Peat Marwick (now
KPMG) where he worked in the firm’s Financial
Institutions Practice in New York and Chicago. After
leaving Peat Marwick he worked for several leading
financial institutions, including as Co-controller of
Goldman Sachs, Chief Financial Officer of the Capital
Markets business of NationsBank (now Bank of
America), Executive Vice President of Paine Webber and
CEO of Paine Webber International. He joined Deutsche
Bank in Frankfurt in 2001 and later became the Bank’s
Chief Financial Officer and a member of its Board and
Group Executive Committee. After retiring in 2008 he
served as senior adviser to Ernst & Young working with
the firm’s financial services partners in the UK, Europe,
the Middle East and Africa. He is a non-executive
director of RBS Citizens Financial Group, Inc.
